Two suspected ISIS operatives arrested from Hyderabad had visited Ajmer last month, police said today.

A four-member team of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) had brought one of the two, Ibrahim Yazdani, to Ajmer for verification yesterday and collected the records of the hotel they had checked into on June 10, said Ajmer SP Nitindeep Bluggan.

"Both the accused -- Ibrahim Yazdani and Habib Mohammed --had visited Ajmer from June 10-14 and stayed in Hotel Darbaar Palace at Dargah Market. The intelligence agencies as well as local police were aware of their movement," he said, adding that the duo were being watched carefully during a secret operation by the intelligence agencies.

The NIA team has returned after collecting the records of the hotel and verification by the accused, he added.
