Two labourers were killed and another was seriously injured in an explosion at a fertilizer factory here today.
The incident took place when a tanker in the Ankur fertilizer factory exploded, leaving two labourers dead, Circle Officer, City, Sanjeev Kumar Bajpai said.
The victims, identified as Ravi Sharma (25) and Vijay (23), died on the spot, he said, adding, Babloo, who was seriously injured, has been admitted to a hospital.
Meanwhile, angry locals are protesting against the incident outside the factory, Bajpai said.
Police have reached the spot and a probe into the incident is on.
