Two persons were killed and ten others injured in an armed clash between two groups at Monteswar in the district here today, police said.
Crude bombs and bullets were freely used during the clash at Tentulia village, District Police Superintendent S M H Mirza said.
The SP said,clash was the result of an old enmity between the two groups. About six months ago two members of the other group were murdered.
Police and RAF have been deployed in the area to maintain peace, he added.
