At least two persons were killed and over 22 others injured following an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blast in Pakistan's Balochistan province on Tuesday, police said.

The incident happened in Quetta's Eastern Bypass area where the explosive material planted in a motorcycle parked outside a medical store exploded.

Cheema confirmed the two victims who were injured in the blast later died at the hospital because of their injuries.

He added that all the injured were civilians.
