Two persons were killed and 38 others injured, seven of them critically, when a passenger bus collided head on with a truck in Chhattisgarh's Balrampur district today, police said.
A bus passenger and the truck driver died on the spot in the crash which took place at Adhaura on the outskirts of Balrampur town, about 350 km from here, this evening, Balrampur Station House Officer Asha Tirki told PTI over phone.
The private bus was heading towards state capital Raipur from Gadhwat town when it collided with the truck coming from opposite direction, she said.

Thirty-eight passengers were injured, including women and children, she said.
The injured were rushed to a hospital in Balrampur from where those in serious condition were referred to a medical facility in adjoining Ambikapur district for further treatment, she added.
