Two killed after car hit their motorcycle

Two persons were killed and another injured today after a car rammed into their motorcycle on Kota-Ujjain road, around 20 kms away from here, police said.

The car also hit three pedestrians leaving them injured, a police official said.

The incident occurred this afternoon apparently after the driver of the car lost his control over the vehicle, Ghatiya police station in-charge Jairam Chavhan said.

The deceased are identified as Bheru Singh (60) and Bhagwan (30). The injured person, who was also riding the motorcycle, is identified as Phul Singh, Chavan said, adding that he was admitted to a hospital in Ujjain.
 

The three injured pedestrians were also admitted in the same hospital.

The driver fled the spot after the incident leaving the car behind, he said.

Police are trying to trace the owner of the car.
