Two killed after vehicle fell into gorge in J-K's Doda district

Two persons, including a monk, were killed when their vehicle fell into a deep gorge in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said today.

Jai Singh and the monk, Swami Raj Ananad, were on way to Kishtwar from Jammu when the vehicle skidded off the road and fell into the gorge near Assar village yesterday, a police official said.

While the driver, Singh, died on the spot, the monk died wile undergoing treatment at a hospital, he said.
