"The bus with 21 passengers on board was returning from Badrinath when it fell into the river at Hathi Parvat this afternoon," Superintendent of Police P Renuka said.
Two persons have died. Their identity is yet to be ascertained. Rescue teams have been rushed to the spot, the SP said.
16 passengers were injured and have been admitted to Gopeshwar hospital.
