Two killed as car catches fire

Two persons were killed when their car caught fire after ramming into a roadside bridge in Rajasthan's Udaipur district, police said today.

The car going to Vadodara from Pindwara rammed into the bridge near Mokela village last night.

While one unidentified passenger was charred to death, driver Mukesh Jangid (21) died due to severe burn injuries and shock, assistant sub-inspector Narayan Singh said.

He said the bodies have been kept at a mortuary of a government hospital and postmortem will be conducted after family members reach Udaipur.
