A woman and her grand-daughter were killed and another person was injured when a jeep rammed into their hut at Hari Nagar in Bihar's Madhubani district today.
The incident occurred when the speeding jeep driver lost control and hit the roadside hut, killing Sakunti Devi (45) and her grand-daughter (5) while they were asleep.
The girl's mother Ramdulari Kumari sustained serious injuries and was admitted to hospital.
The driver of the vehicle escaped unhurt, police said.
