Two killed in clash

daughter-in-law were killed in a clash between two rival groups of people following a dispute over a plot of land in the riverine area under Ismailpur police station of Bihar's Bhagalpur district today, police sources said.

Supporters of Ishwar Mandal and his rival Vinod Mandal of Athgavan village were locked in a dispute over a piece of land in the Ismailpur riverine area in the district, sources said.

Supporters of Ishwar Mandal and his rival clashed after harvesting of 'Ajwain' crop on the disputed plot of land, sources said.

Ishwar Mandal's wife Jichhiya Devi and daughter-in-law Sunita Devi who were present during the clash were killed allegedly by supporters of the rival group, sources said.
