Two killed in gang war

Two gang members were shot

dead while another sustained grievous injuries in a shoot out at Kadma Bazar under Kadma police station here this evening, a senior police officer said.

The incident was sequel to long-standing gang war between gangs led by Sushil Srivastav and his rival Bhola Pandey of Patratu in Ramgarh district, said Senior Superintendent of Police, Amol V Homkar.

Kishore Pandey, nephew of slain Bhola Pandey, and his bodyguard were killed by rival gang members while another one injured seriously.

The injured person, also an aide of Kishore, was admitted to Tata Main Hospital, Homkar said.

Members of the Sushil Srivastav gang had followed Kishore from Patratu to here.
