Two persons died and as many were injured when the vehicle in which they were travelling lost control and hit an electric post in upper Assam's Jorhat town, police said today.
The incident took place yesterday near Gar-Ali Rangajan Girls High School under Titabor Police Station in Jorhat district, they said.
The deceased were identified as BSNL technical employees Chandra Gogoi (42) and Horbeswar Koch (38), while the injured are BSNL junior engineer Bidyut Bikash Gogoi and vehicle driver Shantu Goswami, police said.
