Two minor boys were today killed when their motorcycle was hit by a truck on Jewar-Palwal road here.
Sukhvir (15) and Dhiraj (12) had gone to buy milk. Their motorcycle was hit by a truck while they were returning home, said DSP Jewar Jagat Ram Joshi.
While Sukhbir died on the spot, Dhiraj was rushed to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries later, he said.
Irate locals blocked the traffic for over three hours demanding arrest of truck driver. They also demanded compensation for the family members of the deceased.
Later, on the assurance of senior police officials, the road was cleared in the afternoon, said Joshi.
