Two persons were killed when a vehicle in which they were travelling skidded off the road and rolled down into a deep gorge in Poonch district, police said today.
The duo were on their way to a picnic spot when the vehicle in which they were travelling skidded off the road and rolled down into the deep gorge at Chatta Pani on Mughal Road in the district late last evening, Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Poonch, Amit Gupta said today.
He said that one body was recovered and efforts are on to retrieve the other body.
A case has been registered in the matter, the ASP said, adding that investigation is underway.
