were killed and two other family members seriously injured when a portion of a mud wall in their house collapsed in Odisha's Balasore district today, police said.
The mishap occurred at Suteibadgaon village about eight km from here when the victims were sleeping inside their house, they said.
The deceased were identified as Sukanti Barik (30) and her son Kanhei Barik (eight). They succumbed to critical injuries at the district headquarters hospital here.
The seriously injured were shifted to SCB Medical College Hospital at Cuttack, they said.
