The mishap occurred at Kandiyal village near Lambgaon about 90 kms from Nayee Tehri, the district headquarters, Superintendent of Police Janmejay Prabhakar Kailash Khanduri told PTI.
The bus fell into a 100-ft deep gorge killing two persons on the spot and leaving six others injured who have been admitted at the Tehri district hospital, he said.
The cause of the accident is still not known, he said.
