Two persons were killed and three others injured when the car in which they were traveling dashed into a stationary truck near Wazirganj village under Safipur Kotwali police station area, police said today.
The deceased have been identified as Hukum Singh (35) and Kamlesh (38), police said.
The incident took place yesterday when the five persons were coming back from a marriage and their car rammed into a stationary truck, killing two persons on the spot, they said.
The injured persons were rushed to the Safipur community health centre from where they were referred to the district hospital, police added.
