Two labourers were killed and as many injured when an under-construction transmission tower collapsed near Dhurkot village in Janjgir Champa district in Chhattisgarh, police said.
Labourers Kaptan Singh and Satyanarayan Yadav died on the spot as the tower which was being constructed as part of laying the transmission line from Champa to Raigarh district headquarters crashed yesterday noon, they said.
Police have filed a case against contractor P K Pandiyan of Meenalaxmi company of Tamil Nadu among others.
