Two labourers died while another was injured in a landslide in Assam's Hailakandi district, the police said today.
The labourers engaged in land cutting of a hillock at Monachhera area, about 60 km from here, were buried under a massive landslide last night.
The driver of a truck on which the soil was to be loaded was seriously injured.
The dead have been identified as Kamrul Islam Mazumdar and Abdul Gafur Mazumdar while the injured has been admitted to Silchar Medical College and Hospital.
The police rushed to the spot and cordoned off the area, officials said.
