Setu Kendruka and Naga Kendruka were nabbed from a forest near Chitraguda in Narayanpatna area during a search operation following a tip-off, they said.
The Maoists were involved in over a dozen different criminal cases in the region.
Besides engaging themselves in supply of explosive materials to the Maoists, the duo had also taken part in an attack on Narayanpatna police station.
