Two Maoists surrender in AP

Two wanted Maoists from Chhattisgarh, including a woman, today surrendered before Warangal police in Andhra Pradesh due to ill health, police said.

The duo--M Dularam alias Yogesh (38), Divisional Committee member of West Bastar division and K Pojje alias Anita, an area Committee Member from Bijapur district -- surrendered before Deputy Inspector General of Police, M Kantha Rao, due to ill health.

Yogesh, a resident of Sukma district in Chhattisgarh, is wanted in over 100 cases, of which 13 are for murder. He carries a reward of Rs 1.6 lakh on his head, the DIG said.

While Anita, who joined the movement in 2001, is involved in eight cases and carries a reward of Rs one lakh on her head.
