Delhi Police have arrested two members of the notorious 'Tillu Gang', which used to extort money from businessmen in the city.

The arrested have been identified as Sandeep and Deepak, both residents of Tajur Kalan village of Outer Delhi, police said.

The duo last morning made a threat call to businessman Pradeep, who approached the police after knowing that the accused had tried to break open the shutter of his office at Bakhtawarpur by gun shots.

Acting on a tip-off and with help of technical surveillance, the police nabbed the duo from Murthal in Haryana, yesterday itself, DCP (Outer) M N Tiwari said.

Two country-made pistols, four live cartridges and one mobile phone used in the crime was seized from their possession, he said.

"The accused would terrorise the businessmen by firing on their enterprises to extort money. Both are the member of Tillu Gang," DCP Tiwari said.
