Two men from WB held in MP; two pistols & 10 bullets seized

Two men from West Bengal have been arrested in the district and two pistols and ten bullets were recovered from them, police said today.

The duo was arrested last night, an officer from Badod police station said.

"Acting on a tip-off that two suspicious-looking men were standing near Sudhwas Phante, located around 25 kms from the district headquarters, a police team rushed to the spot and nabbed them. After a search, two pistols and as many magazines containing total ten rounds, were recovered from them," Badod police station in-charge, D S Chouhan said.

The duo, identified as Wasim Khan (27) and Alauddin Sheikh (19), both hailing from Malda district in West Bengal, was arrested later, he said.
 

The accused were arrested under section 25 and 27 of the Arms Act, he said adding that further investigation was on.
