Two men stab petrol pump staff, loot Rs 5.70 lakh

Two motorcycle borne men today stabbed and injured a petrol pump employee and looted Rs 5.70 lakh from him at Gaighat chowk on NH 57 in Muzaffarpur district, the police said.

The incident occurred when Vinayak Kumar, an employee of a petrol pump near Gaighat chowk, was on his way to deposit Rs 5.70 lakh to the local branch of a nationalised bank.

The police are conducting raids to nab the culprits, police said.
