Two men without helmet die as bike rams divider

Two men riding a motorcycle without wearing helmet, died after their bike rammed a divider in south Delhi's Fatehpur Beri area, police said today

The over-speeding motorbike hit divider killing Vijay (22) and Umesh (32) last afternoon, said a senior police officer.

Vijay was driving the bike and suffered severe injuries in face while his friend Umesh suffered head injuries, he said.

They were rushed to AIIMS where they were declared brought dead, he added.

"They had borrowed the bike from a friend and it is suspected that were over-speeding. The bike was found 15-20 feet away from where their bodies were found," he added.
 

Both were labourers from Uttar Pradesh and were staying on rent in Fatehpur Beri area.

Umesh was married.
