The mishap took place yesterday when the tempo, being driven by Nadeem (10), overturned in a ditch killing Ranjana (1) and Raman (3) besides injuring four others, they said.
As Nadeem's brother, who is a tempo driver, had not gone to work the ten-year-old decided to give a joyride to the local children.
The injured were admitted to a nearby primary health centre, police added.
