Two minor girls of a family were killed and two others injured after they were hit by a speeding truck on Gonda-Balrampur road here today, police said.
The incident took place this morning when Ram Karan Ojha, a resident of Sanjhwal village under Kharagpur police station, went to drop his three daughters to school on a motorcycle, he lost balance of the vehicle and fell on road, following which they were hit by a speeding truck coming from behind, they said.
Two girls, Ranjana (11) and Sanjana (7) were killed on the spot, whereas Ojha and his elder daughter were injured in the incident and were admitted to a hospital, police said.
