Two children were killed and three others received serious burn injuries after their hut caught fire in Puwayan township here today, police said.
Imran (4) and his brother (2 months) were in the hut alone when the spark from the earthen stove, on which their mother was preparing food, caught fire in Taal village, SDM Mohammad Moin Ul Islam said.
The parents of the children and one other, who rushed to save them and douse the flames, suffered serious injuries and has been admitted to a hospital, the SDM added.
