The two girls, including a minor, who had gone missing on Tuesday from a forest area in south Kashmir's Anantnag district, have been traced and handed over to their families, police said today.
"The girls were traced from the same forest area late last night and have been handed over to their families," a police official said.
He said the girls, aged 20 and 16, were reported missing on Monday after they failed to return from Palnar forests in Pahalgam area, 100 km from here.
The girls, who are residents of nearby Brai Ashmuqam village, had gone to the forests to graze their sheep, the official said.
