The Federal Skill Academy is planning to open two more centres on skill training in different vocational streams, location for which is being identified, a top official said today.
The academy has at present two centres in Kochi and Coimbatore, where in the first year 240 and 136 students were successfully trained and 70 and 80 per cent placed respectively, Federal bank Ltd COO Shalini Warrier told reporters here.
Stating that the academy will train 450 students each in these centres from this financial year, she said the training will make them skilled and employable for opportunities both in India as well as abroad.
