Two more Covid-19 deaths in TN,slight dip in cases as 447 test positive

: Two persons died due to

COVID-19 in Tamil Nadu, takng the death toll to 66 while 447 people have tested positive for the virus on Thursday, state health minister C Vijaya Baskar said.

With the fresh additions, the cumulative tally of coronavirus cases has increased to 9,674, he said.

After reporting more than 500 cases for nearly 10 days, Tamil Nadu has witnessed a slight dip in the number of positive cases registered.

A total of 509 people had tested positive on Wednesday.

On May 12, the state reported 716 cases while on May 11 it was 798.

Chennai continues to lead with a majority of cases at 363, the minister added.
