Two naxals, including a woman, were today arrested and an 18-kg tiffin bomb was recovered from them in Chhattisgarh's insurgency-hit Kondagaon district, police said.
"The cadres, identified as Ramdhar Sori (20) and Parvati Korram (20), were picked up from the forests of Rajarani hills under Mardapal police station limits when a joint team of security forces was out on a search operation," Kondagaon Additional Superintendent of Police Maheshwar Nag told PTI.
Personnel of the Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Special Task Force (STF) and district force were involved in the operation, he said.

A tiffin bomb weighed 18 kg, an electricity wire and Maoist banners and literature were recovered from the possession of the duo, the ASP said.
"During interrogation, the two revealed that the explosive was mean to harm security forces involved in providing security to the road construction work in the area," he said.
