Two hardcore NDFB(S) militants were killed in an encounter with security forces today in Kokrajhar district, police said.
Acting on a tip-off, an operation was launched in Oudang Bazar in Karigaon area and the militants were killed in the ensuing encounter, they said.
The police recovered two pistols and a grenade from the slain militants, identified as Rahul Brahma and Anjalu Brahma.
