Two members of a family were today killed when a wall of their house collapsed due to incessant rains at Mitradih in the district here, police said.
Manish Pathak (20) and Lauli Kumari (10) were killed when a part of the wall of their house collapsed this morning, police officials said.
The bodies were dug out from the debris, they added.
The local administration has provided an assistance of Rs 3,000 each under 'Kabir Antyeshti Yojana' for cremation of the victims as well as ex-gratia payment of Rs 30,000 each to the kin under the disaster fund, police said.
