Police today seized about 63 kg contraband with the arrest of two alleged drug peddlers near Rauke village here.
The suspects have been identified as Karamjit Singh and Bhupinder Singh, both residents of Rauke village, said Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Gursharan Singh Sandhu.
Police also seized 62.5 kg poppy husk, three gms Heroin and 1,780 drug tablets during the vehicle search.
Upon interrogation, both the accused confessed that they had brought the consignment from Rajasthan and they were on their way to supply it to their permanent customers, the SSP said.
