Two persons, including manager of the four-storeyed commercial complex here, where a fire broke out yesterday killing four women besides injuring seven persons, were arrested today, police said.
A special team has been formed to nab the building owner, who is at large, they said.
The deceased were employees of a stock brokerage firm. Seven persons sustained injuries when they jumped from the second and third floors of the building.
Meanwhile, fire and rescue department sources said it was high time the Government act immediately to inspect such buildings, where there was no fire safety licences.
An estimate suggested there could be more than 500 such buildings in the city, they claimed.
