Two persons arrested in vehicle theft cases

Two persons have been arrested for their alleged involvement in several vehicle theft cases in north west and outer areas of Delhi, police said today.

Vinod Yadav and Chandan were involved in stealing vehicles by way of using master keys and a remote. One country made pistol along with five live cartridges, two stolen cars and one motorcycle were also recovered from their possession.

Police had received a complaint on Sunday by one person regarding the stealing of his Chevrolet Cruze car.

Using technical surveillance, the police traced the car to a park in Maurya Lok which was in possession of two persons.
 

During interrogation, they disclosed their involvement in five more such offences of vehicle theft, Deputy Commissioner of Police (North West) N Gnana Sambandan said.
