Preliminary report suggested that at least two persons were feared buried alive in a well situated two km away from village Hadiyan, in the mid of jungle, said Senior Superintendent of Police, Akhilesh Kumar Jha.
Though a police team has rushed to the spot to investigate the incident but the villagers expressed reluctance to co-operate, the SSP said adding that the incident as well as the number of victims were yet to ascertained.
We are waiting for the details, he said.
The incident has occurred in the in the dense jungle affected by the naxal activities.
