Two persons, fleeing after stealing electric wire coils in a pick up van, were killed when the vehicle turned turtle while trying to save a biker at Chattarwala in Mandela area of Jhunjhunu, police said today.
The deceased were identified as Ayub, and Devendra alias Kalu, the police said.
Two others travelling in the pick van fled from the scene after the mishap last night, they said.
The van was loaded with electric wire coils stolen from the area, they said, adding it was being probed where the robbery was committed.
