Two persons were found murdered today in similar manner with their heads smashed in Anupparpalayam in nearby Tirupur district, police said.
People in Thilaknagar area found one Kanakaraj, who was sleeping outside his house, lying with blood all over his head and face, perhaps attacked with a stone, they said.
In the second incident, another person Lingam was found dead near his house, some distance from the first incident, in a similar manner with his head smashed with a stone, police said, adding, a tense situation prevailed in the town.
