Police today arrested a man involved in bike lifting, and recovered four stolen motorcycles from Kotwali here.
While police managed to arrest one Sudhish, the other accused, Dhruv Singh managed to flee from the scene.
A police team was on duty when they spotted these two criminals. They tried to escape and fired at us but we caught hold of one of the accused, Sudhish, who is a resident of Aliyapur village, they said.
A country made pistol along with cartridges have been seized from their possession, police said, adding efforts are on to nab the other accused.
