The mishap took place at Purunapatna near Chhatrapur when the mini-truck turned turtle after hitting the bike yesterday, they said.
While the bike-rider, Simanchal Badatya (31), died on the spot, Dilip Das (25) who was in the mini-truck was critically injured and succumbed to injuries during treatment at MKCG Medical College and Hospital here, police said.
The injured were admitted to sub divisional hospital, Chhatrapur and MKCG Medical College and Hospital here, police said. PTI
