Two persons killed, four injured in mishaps in Jaipur

Two persons have been killed and four others injured in three separate road mishaps in the city, the traffic police said today.

A 38-year-old woman, Poonam, riding pillion, was killed when a truck hit the motorbike on Sangager-Pulia road here early this morning, police said, adding that the man riding the bike escaped unhurt.

Meanwhile, a truck driver was crushed to death when his vehicle rammed another truck in the Karnivihar area late last night, they said, adding, the victim's identity was yet to be ascertained.

In another accident, four persons were injured when their car overturned after taking a sharp turn in the Nahargarh area late last night, police said.
 

The car occupants left the place leaving the vehicle in a gorge, police said, adding that the car had been taken to the Galta Gate police station this morning.

The occupants are yet to be traced and it is still unknown whether they have gone to a nearby hospital or not, they said. The vehicle was registered in Haryana.
