Four members of a family along with their driver were travelling from Guwahati to Hailakandi when thair car collided with a tipper vehicle at Sayadbandh under Algapur police station.
Five-year old Benazir Laskar and Rizu Ahmed, driver of the vehicle, were killed on the spot, the police said.
Benazir's father Ikramul Haque, her mother Saheda Begum and uncle Abdul Hussain were seriously injured, they said.
The three were admitted to Silchar medical College Hospital in neighbouring Cachar district.
