Two persons killed in road mishap

Two persons were killed and scores of others injured, six of them seriously, when a bus in which they were travelling lost control and overturned in a village under Runnisaidpur police station area in Bihar's Sitamarhi district today, police said.

The mishap took place near Runnisaidpur village as the driver lost control over the bus, they said.

Two persons, identified as Rambabu Singh and Nawal Baitha, natives of neighbouring Muzaffarpur district, died on the spot, while the injured persons were admitted to a Primary Health Centre (PHC) where the attending doctors referred six seriously injured persons to the Srikrishna Medical College and Hospital (SKMCH) for treatment, they said.
 

The bodies have been sent for post-mortem at the Sadar hospital, they added.
