: Two persons were killed and three others injured when a tipper-lorry rammed their car at nearby Eyyal today, police said.
Police gave the names of the deceased as Sajeena (24) and car driver Kajesh (27).
Sajeena's father Suresh (46) and mother Jameela (40) and the lorry driver were hospitalised.
They were on their way from Kannur to Thrissur to meet their son working in a public sector undertaking when the mishap occurred, police said.
