The mishap took place as the speeding truck and Bolero jeep collided with each other killing two occupants of the jeep on the spot, while two others sustained injuries.
The bodies have been sent to the Sri Krishna Medical College and Hospital for post-mortem and the injured person has been admitted at the same hospital for treatment, they said.
Efforts were on to ascertain the identity of those killed and injured in the mishap, the police said.
