Two pilgrims die of heart attack

Two pilgrims on their way to shrine of Mata Vaishnodevi died after they suffered heart attack in Reasi district here, Shrine Board officials said today.

35-year-old Uttam, a resident of Maharashtra, died of heart attack in Katra town enroute cave shrine of Mata Vaishnodevi yesterday, officials said.

In an another such incident, 40-year-old Anil Kumar, a Delhi native, suffered a heart attack in his hotel room in Katra, the base camp of Mata Vaishnodevi and was shifted to a hospital, where he was declared dead last night, they said.

The bodies have been handed over to the family members, officials added.
