Two police officers injured in Naxal firing in Gadchiroli

Two sub-inspectors of police (PSIs) attached to the Sawargaon police station were injured when a group of Naxals opened fire in Dhanora tehsil of Gadchiroli district of Maharashtra this afternoon.

PSI Arjun Mohite and PSI Chandrakant Patil were rushed to the city for treatment, police said.

A group of about 40 to 50 armed Naxals opened fire on police team, which returned the fire, police said.
